Health insurance
Basic and supplementary insurance that suits your health and your budget.
01 · Overview
What is it about?
Swiss health insurance has two parts: compulsory basic insurance (KVG/LAMal) and optional supplementary insurance. Basic insurance covers essential medical care – its benefits are set by law and are the same with every health insurer.
The differences lie in the premiums, the insurance models and the supplementary policies. This is exactly where a comparison pays off.
